Description
Sow seeds directly outdoors from March-May or in late August-September for earlier blooms the following year.
Scatter seeds thinly on the surface of finely raked, well-drained soil and lightly cover with a fine layer of soil.
Water gently to keep the soil just moist until germination.
Seeds will germinate in 14-21 days in warm conditions.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin out to 15-20cm apart.
Autumn sowings will overwinter and flower earlier the following summer.
