Description
Sow seeds from April to May in modules or small pots undercover.
Sow 1-2 cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
Keep soil consistently warm and moist; seeds should germinate in 7-10 days.
Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, sheltered conditions.
Transplant outdoors from mid-May to June, spacing plants 60-90 cm apart.
Harvest from mid-June to October when fruits are still young for the best flavour.
