The first berries ripen in the year of planting. Plantation stays in one place for 2-3 years. Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in pots in a greenhouse at approximately 18-21ºC (65-70ºF) using a quality compost . Press seed into the surface and cover with 3mm (1/8) finely sieved compost (germination 10-30 days). Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle singly into 50mm (2) pots.
