Description
Originating from the rainforest floors of Peru and Brazil, Geogenanthus poeppigii ‘Florijn’ has a compact growth habit and tuberous roots. Commonly known as the seersucker plant, thanks to its puckered tactile leaf surface. Bright green leaves emerge with deep purple undersides.
WATERING
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 70%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 – 4 weeks from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
