Description

Unique and very recongnisible, the pure white flowers are so deeply incised along the edges they look like they have been cut with scissors. On first opening, the petals form a cup that matures into a flattish flower with a small ring of golden stamens. Sometimes red streaks mark the white petals. The flower can be variable – sometimes almost semi-double and cupped, at other times the petals appear shreaded.
