Description
This natural succulent bonsai tree from arid areas of Madagascar grows a thick woody trunk, with small green delicate leaves. Typically they grow no taller than 2 metres, but in the wild some have reached 5 metres tall. Over time their thick base grows rugged and gnarly. It is a very slow growing and deciduous, meaning it will lose all of its leaves in autumn/winter. Leaves will begin to grow back in spring.
WATERING
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temp and light exposure.
