Description
Species within the Cordyline genus can be found throughout the western Pacific Ocean region, New Zealand, Australia, Southeastern Asia and Polynesia. Their foliage has a distinct palm-like appearance, with slender pointed leaves growing upright which gently arch over. The fountain of leaves of Cordyline fruticosa ‘Conga’ is a mix of deep green with creamy-white variegation around the leaf margins.
WATERING
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser once every 2 months from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot when plant is crowding pot, roughly every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining houseplant compost with an added drainage medium like perlite.
