Description
Sow the seeds undercover on moist soil and lightly cover with vermiculite.
Transfer seedlings into individual pots and harden off before planting outside.
Alternatively, directly sow outdoors from April in shallow drills.
Space the rows 15-20cm apart and then gently compress the soil.
Water as necessary. The seeds should germinate between 7-14 days.
As the seedlings grow, thin them to 10-15cm apart.
Regularly weed and water the area as needed.
Harvest when the tops are dry and have turned brown.
