Borage

Description

This herb is otherwise known as Star Flower or Bee Bush, the later name due to the fact that honey and bumble bees are attracted to the bright, starry blue flowers which appear through June and July. With its hairy stems and leaves it is an attractive asset to any garden. It is a fast growing annual but will self-seed and colonise an area. Its cucumber flavoured leaves are good in tea and other beverages, and the pretty blue, edible flowers are good for garnishes.
