Mr Fothergill’s Strawberry Delician F1 Seeds, Heavy crops with exceptional flavour. Feed plants in autumn, not early spring as this makes the berries soft.
Sow indoors, a warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow thinly on the surface of a small tray or pot of pre-watered compost. Place in a warm, light position. A temperature of approx. 20°C is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Transplant to individual pots when 10cm tall. Grow on in cooler but not cold conditions. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 25cm apart or into individual containers, when frosts are over.
