Calathea orbifolia (Goeppertia orbifolia)

Description

The Calathea orbifolia has broad luxuriant leaves that swirl a gradient of greens. This Bolivian native is zesty and fresh, a striking addition to any collection.

WATERING

In S/S water when the top surface of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 10%. Mist daily.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every 3-4 weeks during the growing season (April – September).

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years using a houseplant compost or when roots appear from the bottom of the nursery container.
