Pilea glaucophylla ‘Greyzy’

Description

Commonly known as ‘silver sprinkles’ Pilea, due to its minute, silver, round leaves. Clusters of these tiny leaves adorn slim, reddish stems which delicately cascade out of the pot. This low maintenance and shade tolerant plant is perfect to fill a shelf or hang down from the ceiling, where you can watch it shimmer in the light.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 40%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect, shade tolerant.

FEED

Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot every year when young, and then only when roots emerge from the drainage holes.
