Description

The Calathea Surprise Star, more commonly known as the Rose Painted Calathea, is an indoor plant that has a great array of bold colour about it. The colours upon each leaf are of black and deep pink shades, meaning the plant has a very attractive nature about it on a visual level. The plant will appreciate being placed out of the view of direct sunlight as this will affect the stunning leaf colour over time. The Surprise Star will give you benefits as well with its air-purifying qualities. This will see it remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air. Watering should take place once every two weeks, with misting being required between those periods. Avoid letting the plant sit in water for any length of time as this will affect the plants foliage down the line.
