Description
Deciduous shrub with bronze-purple young foliage and pale lilac-pink flowers in July followed by outstanding and unusual metalic-violet-purple berries in winter. Despite their appearance the fruits are not poisonous. They are produced most freely in long, hot summers and if several plants are grouped together for cross pollination. Grow in any fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position or in dappled shade. Height and Spread: 2m x 1.2m (6ft x 4ft).
