Description
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Fraise Melba’ is a compact, rounded, deciduous shrub displaying dark-green foliage, that turns yellow in Autumn. The blooms on this shrub first appear as cream-white, but then begin to change colour from the base of the panicle. The blooms change to a vibrant strawberry-pink, while still producing new white flowers at the panicles tip- giving the flowerheads a beautiful two-tone effect!
This plant will tolerate partial to full sun, but will bloom most prolifically in full sun. Plant in a fertile, moist, well-drained soil. This plant is well suited as a feature plant in a border, bed or cottage garden.
