Description
The striking Begonia masoniana has large rough-textured green leaves with markings in the centre which resemble a dark brown cross. This plant looks magnificent on a window sill as its leaves glow red when the light shines through them.
WATERING
It is important to water this plant from below to avoid stem rot. In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.
REPOTTING
Repot every 2-3 years.
