Description
Morina longifolia is an elegant plant that looks equally at home in the cottage garden as in the chic, urban, outside space. A hardy perennial, the foliage, dark and glossy, is evergreen in mild winters and has the look of a thistle, though it is much more supple. Stroking it releases a delicate citrus perfume that only appears when the leaves are bruised. It is such an unlikely fragrance that it becomes difficult to walk past the plant without brushing a hand against it just to make sure you really did smell the zest of tangerine.
