Description
Carex Brunnea ‘Jenneke’ is a reliable evergreen sedge with an upright and dwarf growth habit, bearing very narrow, arching, pale yellow leaves with dark green margins. This sedge grass copes well in the shade and is perfect for brightening up borders and containers in some darker corners of your garden. Pale brown, feathery flower spikes appear in Spring and add to the elegant, lofty appearance of this delightful ornamental grass.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, moist soil. Prefers partial shade but will tolerate a full sun position. Avoid positions that are prone to extremes of wet or dry. Remove faded or dead foliage in spring. May be semi-evergreen in the coldest areas of its range.
