Sitting above the unfurling, evergreen foliage below, the pineapple will eventually drop off, but it will be present for a sustained period of time for you to appreciate. Caring for the plant is done by watering the plant when the top soil is dry to touch. Ensuring this is done more in the summer months is vital and, when the Winter period approaches, lessen this amount as temperatures drop. You can place the plant in bright, indirect light, as that is what the plant appreciates in terms of living conditions.
