Description
The Pineapple Plant, as its more commonly known, is a plant that has a clear attachment to its common name as it boasts a very unusual and unique pinepple at the peak of the plant. Sitting above the unfurling, evergreen foliage below, the pineapple will eventually drop off, but it will be present for a sustained period of time for you to appreciate. Caring for the plant is done by watering the plant when the top soil is dry to touch. Ensuring this is done more in the summer months is vital and, when the Winter period approaches, lessen this amount as temperatures drop. You can place the plant in bright, indirect light, as that is what the plant appreciates in terms of living conditions.
