Description
Sow under cover (protected / heated) from Mid spring,
1-2 seeds 2.5cm deep in a 8cm pot in good compost.
These will not germinate or thrive in cold / damp conditions, use a propagator/airing cupboard or very warm south facing draft free windowsill.
Transplant no later than 3 weeks after seeding as cucumbers have a tap root that can be easily damaged.
Cucumbers germinate and grow best when summer really gets going, this variety will thrive equally outdoors in full sun or under cover.
Inadequate or inconsistent watering can cause oddly shaped or poor-tasting fruit.
Can be trained on a trellis or grown as a ridge type on the ground.
Does not need male flowers removed.
Keep them picked and theyll keep producing.
