Commonly known as Black-eyed Susan, Rudbeckia SmileyZ Happy boasts large rust orange flowers with chocolate coloured centres that bloom from early summer through autumn. This is a fast growing plant, which will reach maturity in 1-2 years. It requires very little maintenance and, although the original plant may be relatively short lived, it self seeds and is very easy to propagate so you can enjoy long lasting blooms year after year.

Intricate hues, large blooms and an abundance of flowers combine to make Rudbeckia SmileyZ Happy a popular choice for flower arranging. Blooms can be cut and brought inside to enjoy without leaving noticeable gaps in the plant outdoors.

Also known as Black-eyed Susan, the plant is easy to grow and is hardy to temperatures as cold as -8°C but may be vulnerable to slugs. Elegant strong stems ensure blooms cope with the weather and the plant does well in both sheltered and exposed spots. This is a great option for borders, flower beds or containers and will attract birds, butterflies and pollinators to your garden.
