Description
The fabulous, not over large brown flowers have velvety very dark brown falls, rich chocolate standards and deep yellow neards. I have never been able to put a name to this glorious plant that was obtained from Kew in the very 1980s when the iris garden was disbanded. I had assumes it to be a plant introduced pre-1950. However, using ‘Google Lens’ I have now come up with an alternative name of ‘Momauguin’. Introduced in 1960…
