Broccoli Spigariello Riccio Cultivation Advice

Sow the seeds on moist soil at a depth of 6-12mm.

Gently compress the soil and place it in a bright location, between 15-18c.

Water as necessary and the seeds should germinate between 7-14 days.

Once true leaves have developed, transplant the seedlings into individual pots.

Transplant the seedlings outdoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost.

Thin or space the plants between 50-60cm apart.

Seeds can be sown directly, once the soil temperature has increased.

Harvest the leaves when they are 15-20cm for the best taste.
