An excellent source of vitamin CSow indoors, for surest results, 1.5cmdeep, on edge, in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20C (60-68F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 90cmapart, when frosts are over. Harvest regularly to encourage plants to continue cropping through the season. Discard any bitter tasting fruit.
