Whereas its parent has soft, billowing flowers, Dahlia ‘Café de Paris’ has a sharpened, pointy, extra chic look. We love seeing its huge flowers (a whopping 15cm across) puncture the soft, feathery plumes of Pennisetum ‘Hameln’. C’est magnifique!

With sturdy stems and a vase-life of a week or more, the flowers of Dahlia ‘Café de Paris’ are perfect for arrangements and bouquets. Cutting first thing in the morning or in the evening when moisture levels are high will help your blooms to last longer. And whatever you do don’t feel guilty—the more you pick, the more Dahlia ‘Café de Paris’ will flower! With regular picking and deadheading you can expect to enjoy blooms from midsummer until autumn.
