Description
Betony Stachys officinalis
This is a medicinal plant that has spikes of red-purple flowers. Grows in both woodlands and grasslands. The plant can also be used as a yellow dye.
Sow in late summer or autumn as the seed requires a period of chilling to break dormancy.
