A flowering currant that grows to 2m x 2m and is a Royal Horticultural Society perfect pollinator. It prefers full sun and a moderately fertile, well-drained soil. This fast-growing, fully hardy shrub has white flowers in April. It is a recently introduced and still quite rare variety. After it flowers, blue-black fruits form, creating further interest. It has thornless stems and can be used as an informal, flowering hedge.
