Description
Evergreen sub-shrub with oblong, aromatic leaves 3-6cm long, which are grey-green with attractive cream variegation. 2 lipped, pale purplish flowers in summer on terminal racemes which are attractive to bees. The leaves are used in stuffings and with various meat and fish dishes. Although hardy it may need some protection in periods of heavy frost. Plant in well drained soil in a warm position in full sun or partial shade.
