Description

Fuller’s Teasel is a biennial plant, which grows 120 to 150 centimetres in height, with rigid shoots that branch out in the upper portion. In the period from late June to July, the shoots produce elongated flowers that grow 8 to 10 centimetres in length. The white flowers stop flowering fairly quickly, leaving the plant decorated with lovely oval spiky infructescences. Fuller’s Teasel is a variety often cultivated for dried flower arrangements, and it looks outstanding in parks and on lawns. Also a source of nectar for bees, it’s proper name is Dipsacus Sativus.
