Japanese Acers are famous for their foliage, and this collection showcases exactly why, with three desirable varieties for changing colour from spring through autumn.

Each Acer brings something different to the display. Deep burgundy tones provide richness and depth. Bright orange spring growth adds freshness and energy. Variegated foliage lifts the whole planting with contrast before finishing the season in fiery autumn shades. Together, they create a balanced and visually striking display.

Slow growth is one of the great strengths of Acers. It makes them ideal for container growing, where they remain manageable, elegant and easy to maintain for many years. These plants are fully hardy, coping well with UK winters, and once settled they ask very little in return beyond occasional watering and feeding.
