Japanese Loquat Rosaceae

Evergreen small tree with large attractive spniy leathery leaves and clusters of white flowers in winter followed by yellow plum-like fruit in summer. Attractive to bees. Can fruit reliably in London and mild areas. In cooler areas it is primarily grown for its tropical effect.
