Description
Our Ribes rubrum White Versailles is a deciduous shrub. This early cropping variety produces tasty Whitecurrants that will be ready to harvest in July and August. Small, white flowers will begin to bloom in April and May, contrasting perfectly against the plants green foliage. Whitecurrants are known to be deliciously sweet, making them ideal for including in puddings, jellies or eaten individually, straight after picking.
They will grow to an ultimate height of 2m and ultimate spread of 1.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
