Sweetcorn Shoots Growing Instructions

Soak the seed for 8-12 hours in room temperature water, before rinsing and draining the seed.

After this, sow the seeds directly onto a moistened growing medium and cover the seeds and lightly mist with water.

Place the seeded tray into a second tray without drainage holes. This will allow you to bottom water the tray.

Cover with another tray on top to stop light getting in or place somewhere dark e.g. a cupboard. If the soil is dry, then water from the bottom or mist.

Harvest when the seedlings are around 7cm or around day 7. Cut the stems above the soil line with a knife or scissors.
