Description
Start the seeds indoors from March-May
Sow thinly about 5mm deep into wellprepared soil.
Keep the seeded area consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
Seeds will usually germinate in about 2-3 weeks under ideal conditions between 18-28c.
Once seedlings are established and large enough to handle, thin them to about 20-30 cm apart.
Water as needed during dry spells.
The flower spikes may require staking as they mature.
Deadhead spent flowers to prolong the flowering window.
