Hoya carnosa ‘Flamingo Dream’

Description

Thick and waxy pointed leaves of Hoya ‘Flamingo Dream’ make for a mesmerising display of marbled green and cream-white. Fresh growth, and thick vines, produce a vibrant fuchsia pink which glows against its creamy variegation. To encourage variegation keep this Hoya in a relatively bright space, ideally with access to some direct sun.

WATERING

Water when 80% of the soil is dry.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright but not direct.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every two years to give the roots more space to grow and to replenish the soil. Use a well draining house plant compost with 30-40% added draining medium like perlite, grit or hydroleca.
