Predominantly cultivated in East, Southeast, and South Asia, the mung bean serves as a versatile ingredient in both savoury and sweet dishes. Widely recognized as the popular Chinese bean sprout, Mung Bean sprouts are white and can enhance the flavour of salads, stir-fries, and various delectable Chinese dishes. Harvest them when they reach a length of about 3-4cm after 4-6 days of growth. Sprouting seeds offer a straightforward method for producing nutritious vegetables throughout the year. Similar to beansprouts, various other seeds can be sprouted in a similar manner, providing different flavours.
