Description
Calluna Vulgaris is a low-growing, evergreen ground cover plant. It is important not to cover Scottish Heather seeds, but just press them slightly into the soil. Calluna Vulgaris has shrub-like appearance and a very attractive ever-changing foliage that develops a bronze to purple cast in fall and winter. The foliage is extremely showy all season long, and in addition, Calluna Vulgaris blooms for several months. The Scottish Heather’s purple to pink flowers are rich in nectar and they attract bees, butterflies and moths.
