‘Early Moorpark’ is a fantastic variety of apricot tree, the delicious fruits are ready to pick from April and they are aromatic, bright yellow fruits that when fully ripe take on an orange-red tinge. Self-fertile, it’s ready to pick from August and in the springtime, it produces incredibly beautiful, fragrant pink blossom.
Although this apricot tree is totally winter hardy, position it somewhere where it’s protected from the wind as this will give the blossom protection and the best chance of full pollination. Once fully grown you could be picking 200-300 fruits and can be grown in a pot if you are very limited on space. Expect fruiting crops from 3-4 years after planting.
Supplied as a 1.35-1.45m tall, bare-root, multi-branched tree.
