Roses are well known for being a very romantic and sentimental addition for any border, display, pot or container. On top of all of this, you will be purchasing a plant that is good value for the money you spend and, unlike a typical bouquet of Roses, will offer tremendous longevity as the plants stay with you for years to come.
When caring for this plant, the soil should be kept moist for the majority of the time. In drier spells of the year, moist soil is all-the-more important, as it will cater for the lack of water from typical rainfall. Applying a general or Rose fertiliser in the Spring months will ensure the plant flourishes well and, if growth of the Rose appears to be slow, it is recommended to add fertiliser once again in the Summer months.
Please Note: Roses may be pruned back to encourage re-growth. Rest assured, if your gift rose arrives without foliage, it has been pruned with the best interests of the plant at heart and will soon flourish once again.
