Delphinium Guardian Collection

Description

Bring height, structure and a fresh cottage-garden feel to planting schemes with this elegant collection of Delphinium ‘Guardian Blue’ and Delphinium ‘Guardian White’. Both are part of the Guardian Series, bred to flower earlier than many other delphiniums, so you can enjoy their tall, showy spires from June.

‘Guardian Blue’ produces rich blue-purple semi-double blooms with a neat white eye, while ‘Guardian White’ offers a crisp display of bright white flowers that light up the border beautifully. Together, they create a striking contrast and a more layered, balanced look in sunny garden spaces. Each variety grows to around 1.2m tall, making them ideal for adding vertical interest towards the back of a border or as standout features in large patio containers.

The sturdy stems make both varieties excellent for cutting, so it is easy to bring their flowers indoors for long-lasting arrangements. Bumblebees are especially fond of delphiniums too, making this collection a useful addition to a pollinator-friendly garden.

Grow in fertile, well-drained, moisture-retentive soil in a sunny, sheltered position.
