Description
About the targeting tree disease in Kent and Sussex packs
Trees and woods are under threat, and though Kent and Sussex are the most wooded counties in England, they’re facing a huge impact from pests and diseases such as ash dieback. To prevent tree disease and maintain a healthy woodland ecosystem, it’s vital that we replace lost trees and increase species diversity, particularly when it comes to trees outside woods.
Part-funded* by the Woodland Trust and our partners, this pack is designed to address the impact of ash dieback and is filled with trees that are suited to growing on large plots of land, including those that feature as individual field trees, or which form boundaries or small copses. Each pack includes 45 cell-grown saplings – 15 of each species – chosen to match your location and soil type.
Please note: this pack has been developed to help reduce the impact of ash dieback in Kent and Sussex. Only purchase this pack if you live within Kent, East or West Sussex. If you live outside of these areas, our alternative targeting tree disease pack may be more suitable.

Tree protection options
It’s important to consider if your saplings need protection, particularly from browsing mammals. You can choose to purchase tree protection alongside your saplings.
Choose from:
No tree protection
Choose this if your saplings are unlikely to be affected by browsing mammals, or if you have alternative plans for tree protection. For example, browsing reduction or fencing.
Easywrap and canes
Easywrap and canes are perfect for protecting your trees when smaller mammals may be a risk.
Tubes and stakes
Provides protection from small and large mammals. Tubes will also promote quicker upward growth.
