This Japanese Holly can be used in exactly the same way as box hedging and even its leaves are similar. Unaffected by the troublesome box tree caterpillar or box blight, it can be grown as a low hedge, parterre and topiary, safe in the knowledge that nothing will damage it.
‘Green Hedge’ is a robust and pest-resistant evergreen shrub with glossy evergreen foliage, summer flowers and decorative autumn berries.
