Description
The Portulacaria afra is a slow growing succulent shrub. It has distinctive reddish brown stems which are adorned with little light green leaves.
WATERING
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temperature and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cacti and succulent feed once a month from April – September.
REPOTTING
Repot in spring every 2-3 years to replenish the soil. Use a cactus and succulent potting mix with added drainage, such as perlite or pumice.
