Description
No two leaves of the Ukigumo Japanese Maple will be the same, as creamy leaves are sprinkled in pale green, with just a subtle hint of pink spreading at the tips. Speckly leaves combine with others that appear completely cream to form an outstanding overall effect.
Five-lobed leaves mature in autumn into bright peach to deep red, before falling to unveil fine branches, ready to take on further growth in the new year. You will even be able to see a changing show from year to year, as the longer your Acer is in your garden, the more variegated the leaves will become each year.
This slow-growing Japanese Maple is right at the top of the list for potted specimens, while also looking right at home in a small garden.
