Description
A wonderful kind of basil with a pleasant lemon scent that has smooth texture, delicious lemon flavour, and mid-green leaves. The plants grow to a height of approximately 50cm and have an upright, well-branched habit. In order to maintain the flavour of the lemon, lemon basil is typically added right before serving to soups, stir fries, and curries in Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine. Fit for consumption as a salad leaf as well
Lemon basil grows well in pots inside all year round and outside in the summer. As long as plants are growing, leaves can be harvested year-round.
