Description
This trailing succulent vine is native South Africa. Long slender stems can reach 4 metres in length, dotted with distinct fleshy purple heart-shaped leaves. The distinct shaped leaves of Ceropegia woodii have earned it the common name ‘string of hearts’.
WATERING
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temp and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun, will tolerant indirect light with less watering.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser 4-6 times from April – September.
REPOTTING
Young plants can be repotted every year for the first few years, then every 2-3 years to replenish the nutrients within the soil.
