Description
Sow undercover from mid-April or directly outdoors from May to July.
If sowing undercover, place 12 seeds per pot or module.
Remove the weaker seedling once germinated.
Transplant outdoors in spring when large enough, spacing plants 15-25 cm apart.
Alternatively, sow directly outdoors from May to July.
Keep soil moist and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
Thin seedlings to 25-30 cm apart once established.
Water regularly to encourage tender leaves and vibrant stems.
Harvest from mid-June to December by picking outer leaves and allowing new growth to develop.
