Created using a tried-and-tested nursery recipe, this blend uses 50% composted wood fibre to lighten the texture and create vital air channels around the roots. That’s what gives your plants that strong start and keeps them growing well long after planting. The remaining mix uses three different peat grades, chosen for optimum moisture control, along with lime to balance the pH and a gentle starter feed that gives young roots the nutrients they need without burning them.

Unlike some of the supermarket or DIY-store composts, which can be heavy, lumpy or even weed-ridden, this one is light, clean, and consistent every time.

You’ll find it incredibly easy to work with. It pours well, mixes well, holds its structure and never compacts into sludge. And because youre getting a large bag, you’ve got plenty of it on hand when you need it most, whether that’s for spring planting, autumn tidy-ups or mid-season top-ups.

This bag contains 60 litres of compost when packed. Please note, contents may settle in transit and we recommend mixing the compost by hand before use.
