Description
Sow indoors onto the surface of seed compost.
Lightly press into the soil but dont cover as light is needed for germination.
Place in a propagator at 18-20c.
Germination can be erratic and can take between 14-21 days to germinate.
Thin and transplant the seedlings when theyre large enough to handle to 15cm pots.
Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions after the risk of frost has passed.
Can be invaisive to restrict root run.
Pinch out the tips to encourage the plant to become bushier.
Water as needed in dry conditions.
Cut back regularly to encourage new growth and prevent flowering.
Before winter, cut back to ground level. Divide plants every 3 years.
