A well established commercial variety used on Pick-Your-Own Farms with delicious tasting fruits! This variety produces large, bright red fruits that are very sweet in mid-June to mid-July and best of all; a smaller subsequent crop may follow in September too if we have a hot summer! ‘Red Gauntlet’ also has excellent disease resistance to grey mould. Well worth growing in strawberry pots due to its long cropping season. Self-fertile.
